My Story

Hasifa is a committed and approachable leader within

within the Ugandan community in Bristol.

She is known for bringing people together, guiding initiatives with humility, and encouraging unity among members. Her role in community activities reflects a deep dedication to service, collaboration, and building a supportive environment. Hasifa continues to inspire trust and confidence through her warm leadership style and commitment to the growth of the association.

The President

It is an honour to greet you once again as we continue our journey together as the Association of Ugandans in Bristol. Since being entrusted with the role of chairperson, I have witnessed first-hand the strength, resilience, and unity that define our community. Each of you brings something unique, and together we are building a vibrant family away from home. 

Over the past months, our team has been working to strengthen the structures that guide us, ensuring that our association is formally recognized and firmly rooted. We are committed to transparent leadership, proper organization of our resources, and creating opportunities for every member to belong and participate fully.

Looking ahead, our focus is on nurturing cultural pride, supporting one another through practical initiatives, and reaching out to new members who wish to join our growing family. We are excited about the events and projects being planned, and I warmly invite you all to get involved—whether by volunteering, sharing ideas, or simply showing up to celebrate and connect.
